Athena: Your Pet’s Second Favorite Human.

Growing up we always had at least 4 cats in our house but one day the tables turned, and we turned into a dog family too. When I got older, I had the joy of having a job that required me to travel a lot so I always felt too guilty to have a fur family of my own. So I lived vicariously through my friends, co-workers, and family members and would pet and house sit whenever they’d go on vacation. Now I travel a lot less and have two cats of my own and have the great pleasure and honor to love on your families as well.

Meet the Pawesome Family Team

Ana: Wags, Wiggles & Wings—Trusted Care Since 2011

Hi Greenville pet parents! I grew up with multiple dogs and in my adult life, a cat, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.

Having experience working for the Humane Society as an assistance supervisor and veterinarian hospitals I am well versed in all your pet needs from medications, baths, and more. Since 2011, I’ve been trusted by families for housesitting, dog walking, and cat care, providing not just feeding and exercise, but companionship and comfort. Along the way, I’ve also cared for rabbits, chickens, and ducks, and I’m open to working with many other animals.

I enjoy learning about your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can give them the best care possible. My goal is to make sure every furry friend feels comfortable and cared for while you’re gone. I can’t wait to meet you and your loved pets!

Leslie - Bringing love to animals of all shapes and sizes

Hi! My name is Leslie, and my love for animals has been lifelong. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, a bunny rabbit, a parakeet, hamsters and turtles that sparked a passion that continues today.

A true Renaissance woman, professional artist, former NY/NJ licensed massage therapist, and seasoned customer service professional—I’ve also built a rich, hands-on background in animal care. My experience includes working with the Morristown Seeing Eye organization, grooming at a riding stable, serving as an adoption counselor at Marin Humane Society, and volunteering with Wild care, a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Northern California. Most recently, I organized a major art fundraising event for a North Carolina equine sanctuary.

Caring for animals brings me immense joy, and I’m excited to share that dedication and love with you and your pet. 🐾

“Athena did a great job house sitting and taking care of my dog. She sent frequent updates and pictures and I was never worried about my dog while I was on vacation.”

— Kelly S.

“Ana was the perfect sitter! She went above and beyond to care for my two kitties - I will be hiring her services for my fur babies again! ”

— Caitlin A

“My Husband and I are thrilled we found Athena’s Pawesome Pet Services for our dogs. We moved to Greenville in May and our Golden Retriever needed some extra attention. He loves his daily walks, always waiting by the door. In addition to the walking services we have also had Athena house/dog sit. The Communication was awesome and the pictures taken daily I might add are professional quality. It’s feels like family taking care of your fur babies. We love them.”
